In 2009, Certify launched the industry’s first transaction and events HIE platform leveraging the HealthDock^® intelligent appliance at the edge, in the physician’s office. This revolutionary approach became an industry game-changer by providing hospitals and health systems a simple, yet sophisticated tool to establish hospital/physician interoperability. The Certify solution proved successful in everything from single-physician practices to 500-physician multispecialty medical groups. Certify is the first technology company to decode the problems associated with custom interfaces and has “productized” the process of establishing true interoperability across disparate EHR/EMR systems. Our HIE platform eliminates the time-consuming and resource-intensive process of aligning hospitals with their community physicians. The Certify HIE Platform is the closest to a “plug-n-play” solution that exists today.

Certify continues to innovate ahead of the curve

Today, we are delivering even greater performance and capability by levering our HealthDock^® edge servers, community eMPI and the existing EHR/EMR infrastructure at our hospital and health system clients. This hybrid approach enables real-time query of patient-specific clinical information from anywhere in the community, no matter what EMR system is in use. Through IHE standard PIX, PDQ and XDS queries, providers have immediate access to their patients' health information in their own native systems at the point of care.

Certify’s HealthDock^® edge servers living in physician offices act as XDS.b repositories and registries that stage vital clinical information from any EMR to be accessed by all trusted partners in the community. This capability is made possible by our community eMPI that is stored at the edge, in the Certify HealthDock^®. No other solution offers this unique capability, which is essential for identifying and accessing, in real time, patient information stored in disparate IT systems all along the care continuum.
