Executive Leadership
Marc Willard, Founder and Chief Executive Officer
Marc has been solving difficult technical challenges since founding ColourPass Corporation in 1989 to pioneer complex digital imaging. Marc moved to the U.S. from England after positioning ColourPass as a worldwide leader in the digital imaging market. In 2004, Marc founded Certify while working as an Entrepreneur in Residence at Ricoh Innovations. At the time, Marc recognized that the absence of any meaningful hospital-physician interoperability was having a negative impact on the cost and quality of patient care in the U.S. Through extensive research and several significant technical achievements, Marc developed a straight forward solution to connect disparate IT systems using an appliance. Taking a fresh approach, Marc leveraged technology adapted from other industries to improve the delivery and quality of patient care. Marc’s unique solution has been tested in over 650 sites across the U.S., giving Certify the leading edge in meeting the challenges of meaningful health information exchange. Marc holds an HND in Electrical Engineering from Surrey University.
