Summary of Duties:
Certify Data Systems is looking for a strongly motivated Software GUI Developer who is capable of working in an agile environment on its next generation user interface. The candidate must have a keen eye and a keen intellect for producing intuitive and attractive user interfaces. The candidate must be technically strong in Java, GUI design patterns, and software best practices.
| Responsibilities: |
- Implement Web and Java based user interfaces
- Deliver projects on time and with high quality.
- Follow good coding, testing, and documenting practices and adhere to existing standards.
- Analyze requirements for completeness.

| Requirements: |
- Strong GUI skills are required.
- Experience with Java, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, XML, XSLT, and JSP.
- Experience with AJAX.
- Experience in JSP-EL is desired.
- Experience with Servlets and EJBs is desired.
- Experience with Databases is desired.
- Experience with Swing is desired.

| Work Experience: |
- BA/BS in Computer Science (or equivalent work experience).
- 5+ years work experience.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience working in fast growing startups is preferred.

| Communication/Team Skills: |
- Excellent understanding of software development process and full product development cycle.
- Excellent analysis and design skills, yet practical enough to get the job done.
- Excellent communication skills, including documentation.

Work Environment: |
- Focus on teamwork; able to collaborate with Business and QA staff on projects.
- Must be able to perform under tight timeframes & execute problem-solving skills.
