Two primary components combine to create the Certify solution and its closed-loop processing:

Certify HealthDock™

Seamless Workflow
Certify’s HealthDock™ is an intelligent appliance that receives in-bound clinical information from multiple sources and pushes the data to physicians as soon as it is available in the hospital’s information system (HIS). HealthDock™ delivers clinical information directly to the physician’s electronic medical record (EMR) for immediate access. For fully or partially paper-based practices, HealthDock™ delivers clinical data to physicians’ email accounts using encrypted PDF files. Physicians no longer need to call the hospital or query web portals for lab results, discharge summaries, radiology reports or other critical elements of patient information. Certify’s bi-directional platform allows physicians to place orders for hospital services. With Certify, physicians can focus on their patients; not whether or not the medical record is complete.

An Easy Fit
The Certify HealthDock™ is designed for all physician practices – from large multi-specialty clinics with hundreds of doctors to the single physician practice. HealthDock™ supports nearly any local IT environment or level of sophistication, whether the physician office currently uses an EMR system, does not use an EMR, or is planning for one in the future.

Secure and Reliable Environment
HIPAA compliance is ensured because all communication uses standards-based security, via HTTPS with SSL, 128-bit public and private key encryption, and a complete, closed-loop audit trail is kept. No confidential data is preserved or stored in the Certify HealthDock™. Certify HealthDock™ features automated backup and restore capability, and secure user login with automatic logout due to inactivity.

Certify Gateway

Connect with all of your physicians
Certify’s Gateway enables hospital organizations to exchange all forms of clinical information with their physicians and other providers, when and where it is needed. The Certify Gateway interacts with any HIS and doesn’t require an interface engine or additional code to incorporate. When the Certify Gateway receives a request from the HIS, data is transformed and routed to the appropriate physician office-based HealthDock™ appliance. In concert with Certify HealthDock™, the Gateway creates a bi-directional connection with up to 100% of hospital’s referring physicians while still supporting the physician offices’ existing workflows and IT investments.

Enhanced physician loyalty
Certify’s Gateway enhances physician loyalty by making it easier for physicians to work with you. Critical information such as lab results and discharge summaries can flow to their offices automatically, while the offices can schedule admissions or order tests without fax or telephone – all in full HIPAA compliance.
